• The Dallas Mavericks drafted Cooper Flagg, the elite sensational forward from Duke, with the first pick in the NBA draft last night. Needless to say, it’s time to get hyped Mavs fans.

• Before the big draft night selection, the Mavericks also resigned Kyrie Irving to a new three-year contract, solidifying the team’s new core.

• In just his third career start, Rangers pitcher Jacob Latz took a no-hitter all the way into the seventh inning on Tuesday night. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy has already said he’ll consider giving the newcomer a rotation spot. Jacob DeGrom followed it up by carrying a no-hitter of his own through the seventh inning last night as well.

• The Dallas Stars recently traded forward Mason Marchment to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a 2025 fourth round pick and 2026 third round pick.
