The Dallas Stars have hired a familiar face as their new head coach, Glen Gulutzan. Gulutzan previously coached the Stars between 2011-2013 and will now rejoin the team as they push for a Stanley Cup.
The Dallas Mavericks signed D’Angelo Russell to a two-year deal. Russell is likely to start at point guard for the Mavs while Kyrie Irving is recovering from a torn ACL.
